COVID took everyone by surprise and yet Marico saw an opportunity in launching a sanitizer and a female hygiene brand from scratch within 15 days of lockdown. How can we build, launch and create a space for a brand when its competition is spending 15x more on marketing?
The task was daunting, we set-up a team that worked tirelessly from naming the brand, crafting a distinctive positioning in a crowded market, designed and developed the e-commerce ready website on Shopify, and launched the Amazon advertising campaign along with A+ content, all in just 15 days!
The efforts paid off when we were able to create our mark in the category on Amazon and earned the #2 spot in female hygiene products in just 60 days of launch. We grew and sustained the business from 0 to double-digit million in 90 days of launch.
The brand continues to expand in the female hygiene category and aims to launch 10 new products in the next 6 months.
